Welcome!!
My name is Emily May McEwan and this is my website dedicated to art! As an artist I work with oil painting, sculpture, drawing, tattoo design and gouache. I also do some art journalism including exhibition and artists reviews, research papers etc.
Publications:
My pencil and lead drawing titled Le Garcon Noir is published in the Northridge Literary Review ed. 2006 . The Santa Barbara City College newspaper The Channels did an artist spotlight titled ”A World of Beauty” on my art which includes an article and a webcast. To see the article click this link “The Channels Newspaper Article”. My newest works are the Tattoo Flower Mini Series which features four small canvases with gallery edges, the images were inspired by flower tattoos. I have just finish “Blue Carnival” which will be hung in Bricks Cafe shortly and is the first in a series of colorful abstract paintings of the cliche feelings people feel at Carnivals.
Five of my painting are currently displayed in a professional office @ 270 El Dorado St., Monterey, CA 93940
I have paintings that reside in private homes up and down California and in office buildings. If you would like to view my artwork it is on the Emily May’s Art page . Most of my work is for sale and if interested please leave a comment or e-mail me at emcewan@mcewancpa.com .Hope you enjoy and please comment!
